Just dropping a line to let everyone know that the comet is out of the body shop and that its as good as used. I didn't want pristine.. and thats exactly what I didn't get. But the clifford headers are on for now. I have to remove them again in order to pound in the floor boards to make room, don't freak.. .years of upstate NY salt have done alot of unrepairable damage already. The 33 1/2 in dual in single out Thrush glass pack sounds great, even with a million leaks, and works well as a temp x pipe. I'm gonna split it back to duals but for now.... well the rear door handles are shaved and she's a perty flat black. Brushing up on the airbrushing for step two. Shoping for a carburetor put thats no fun. Every company tells me their idea and set up is better. I want the austraillian head!!!! any way. I will get pics up soon I promise.
