Pedal Ratio

    anyone know whats the pedal ratio for clutch/brake pedals in the maverick?

    What I was thinking.

    Glad someone gave the 1:1 answer, I was tempted. Don't have a clue about what you really want to know but I'll go through my service manual tomorrow and see if I can find anything.

    Brake pedals are different between manual brakes and power brakes. Power is usually around 5:1 and manual around 7:1 (6:1 is a common figure among other Fords...maybe on the Maverick too?) I have no idea with the clutch pedals.

    I set both of our cars up at 6.5:1, both work great--4 wheel manual discs.
