Maverick #5 is mine

    Well now I have another 1973 2door 6cyl maverick to call mine.
    He took 500 for it, so I grabbed it. It has surface rust and a couple of
    dings but around here is is dang near impossible to find anybody with
    a maverick to sale.

    Think I will make this into a daily driver type. Will post pictures as soon as
    I get it pulled home and give it a bath.

    Bouncing Baby #5 is now in the yard

    Just towed #5 home. He was able to find the original sales reciept from 1973.:clap: :bananaman

    They traded a 1966 baracuda for it and paid a whoppin 2969.10 for the maverick back in march 1973. the odometer has 35,000 miles which is most likley correct since a little old lady was the owner/driver. Now it needs a good bath and lots of tlc, it has no brake preasure at all. the current tags ran out in 1997 so it has
    been setting since then. Time to have at it.. more to come.

    Nice! Where do ya'll find all these nice Mavericks? They must not of been very popular here in NC. I have'nt seen one on the road since I can remember and never see any behind any houses.
