Fun Ford Weekend Richmond VA

    It that time of year again for the Fun Ford Weekend at VA Motorsports Park, Richmond VA June 24th - 26th.

    I'll be there for my warmup before the BIG roundup in July, who else can make it?

    Last year my racing luck was nothing less then BAD I broke everything at least once and somethings twice.:eek:

    So far this year the car as ran outstanding and I'm looking forward to the FFW.
    Last year we had a fair turn out of Comets and Mavericks so if you can make it please let me know and I'll keep a look out for you. I hope to see as many of you as possible.

    Can any one else make it, VMP is a beautiful track with lots to see and great racing.

    Made it down Saturday

    Hey folks
    Was able to make it down Saturday for the day and saw Terry and Frank who I met last year. saw Terry(Bossmav) make a few runs and he was running great. Also talked to a few other Maverick owners who were racing. Also saw a nice white Comet GTmake a run. I had to leave early and didnt get to say goodbye to Y,all fellas . Here are a few pics

    Is that a chuvy engine in that red roadster behind the beautiful green Maverick?
    Some very nice Fords there. I just hate to see a non Ford engine in a Ford is all. lol

    I didnt look at the roadster but the Beautiful green Maverick had a Uh Uh I cant say it. 406 C word engine.It was for sale so somebody get it and get that thing outta it

    the green one was on ebay a while back. guess it didn't meet the reserve, but it is a nice car.:)
