I have not ever attempted to replace the type of headliner thats in the comet but I have done the foamy glue in type before, thats why I ask. I have been concentrating on the drive train and havent even looked up at the sagging liner. I figure if I dont look at it, one less stress, till I start working on the interior.:)

"I spent over $800 there today......" I thought you were broke? :biglaugh:Must've raided the piggy bank! Just kiddin. Is Melvins the place you can see from I 20? Always wanted to stop in sometime when I'm through there but looks like it would be hard to park the truck.

That's it. Melvin's is on that frontage road along I-20. When you are heading home (east to west), exit West Ave and go left. At the next light, turn left. It will look like they cut a road down the middle of a shopping center parking lot - they did. Follow that road around go up to Melvin's. There is a lot of industrial type places along there and you should not have trouble finding a place to turn the big rig around.

BTW, I broke your piggy bank. Actually business has been good this year and I've gotten a couple of real big bonuses and another is on the way. I figure I'll buy the stuff while I have the cash.

Atlanta is a metro area of over 4 million. It is a big area of car collectors and restorers. If you've ever watched American Muscle Car on the Speedchannel, look next time at the number of cars and owners that have a Georgia city under their name. The Georgia Gang is simply a beneficiary of where we live.

Sort of spur of the moment. I didn't call anybody. I went out there to get some paint and while I was there I thought I would ask if he could order in Maverick parts. That's when he said that he's got 'em. I bought all that stuff yesterday because I was ready to place an order with that other place in Virginia that I have forgotten their name.:D
