    you painted it with gloss paint :( , guess I'll still be the only one going satin, dark satin blue, with some sort of accent :D

    shaun82; saw on Overhaulin' they did a '62 Falcon in satin blue, and it looked great. Good luck!

    Well, Shaun...yours will be that much more unique now...Its just that I wanted it done professionally and I went to a couple of shops and they didn't really want to mess with it...I guess because of what Jean said about it being tricky to get the same level of sheen on the car(some areas could come out flatter than others) They couldnt guarantee that it would come out exactly how i wanted it...

    I have a guy that loves to lay down satin and flat paint, he says it's a lot less work intense than gloss anyway. there are a lot of paints out there that hold up to UV now and such. Well regaurdless, hope your car turns out nice, but you did get my hopes all up originally. Doesn't matter, my car will be in primer for a long time yet, lots of work to do yet.
