Finally got some of the pic's to fit. This would be my survivor up here in Canada, most have met the crusher, seen a few of them go through the wreckers over the past years and have disappeared. I purchased this one off of the original owner back in 1990 and don't plan on ever letting her go. One day I'll find the time and coin to go through it but for now she's nice enough to take out on occasion when I find the time. Pretty much all original including the majority of the paint. Added in a Duraspark ignition, 4bbl and headers along with a set of guages under the dash, that's about it. I had the twin to this one back in 1985-1988 and is actually still cruising around locally but looking pretty sad now. I also have a 74 GT that I've never seen elsewhere in this particualr color combo, brown with gold GT stripe, only problem, i'ts my parts car. I'm sure I'll have fun with this site for a while. Does anybody know where I could possibly get one of the towers for these factory mags? This is the Comet style, has the Mercury crest in the centre. I have a set of Maverick units but can't bear to put them on, doesn't look right.

    Great looking car!
IF you want to add it to the currently under construction Comet GT registry,
e-mail me the following info: owner name, city, state or country, VIN, door data
registry as well as some details of the current condition.

I had a friend in high school with a green GT-'73. Same interior as yours but in
medium lime metallic exterior-I think that was the name of the color.

    Seth in NC.
