Ok..here is a few of my car and what I have done so far...As you can see I removed all the vinyl and now have the wonderful task of glue removal...I also took off the hubcabs in preparation of painting the rims ...And there is a couple of shots of the quaterpanels that are getting the dents removed...
You can really see the difference of two quaterpanel's shine....the right rear quater was polished with the Car Skin product, the left wasnt....I had just tried an area to see what difference it would make....
That Car Skin product really works on getting all the oxidation off. That is a sharp blue. Keep the progress pictures coming....
It's amazing now nice a car looks when you remove all the oxidation. When I got my 74 the lather at the do-it-yourself car wash turned yellow it was oxidized so bad ...
Plans Well, as nice as the blue looks on the pic, it is very thin in spots...you cant tell from these pics, but the hood is flat black...the paint was pretty much gone on the hood...I am painting the whole car a satin black, i love that look...its sounds weird I know, but i think after I get it all done with the wheels and caps it is going to be very unique looking...Bringing it to the body man today...YIPPIEE!!!
Yea, thats what I am going for...i get alot of inspiration for Old School Rods magazine(eventhough the Mav is not considered an old school rod...lol)
Hey, congrats on taking it to the body man!! It'll be a whole different animal afterwards!! Good Luck!! Preston
