Thats the good news check out the off topic section for the bad news:)

The progress was finally getting the rear end custom 9 inch detroit locker with 3.70 gears and explorer rear disc hooked up. I still got to get the brake lines ran but thats easy. In case you are wondering hooking up the parking brake cables was a breeze. The solution was to cut the tip off the old parking arm and weld it to the explorer parking brake lever. The only other mod was peeling the clip at the end of the cable off so the cable would slide into the explorer cable holder. piece of cake. It comes home this sunday on a roll back so I can get the brakes all hooked up. which includes hooking up the JMC autosports CNC daul 3/4 inch bore master cylinder assembly and installing a set of 99 gt mustang twin piston calipers in the frt. I have a set of the cross drilled/slotted rotors for the frt and back but will wait to install those after the paint job later this year. I will install the new motor in the next 2 to 4 weeks as well. Round up 05 here we come. Too bad the nitrous won't be hooked up until later. Gotta get the motor broke in. It would seem the trip to owensboro ky will be the break in trip. I hope it makes it there with no problems. :bananaman :bananaman :woohoo1: :woohoo1:

    break in

ya break-in is erie and patience-trying, i wanted to rod but didn't dare, also kept me out of the time trials at the airport (once per year in conjuntion with the brookings sd car festival)

nitro, i won't subject my mill (baby) to that "abuse/use", even though i built it to handle a limited amount of juice.

What are the nearest Maverick gatherings to Brookings SD 57006? do any maverick caravans pass this way?
