1 dupicate pic, sorry. I need a whole photo album.
while the the tranny is out and i'm waiting for a replacement, i'm doing other work. i'll be farming out the hood, fenders, & valence pan to a very reputable body shop. (no tools/experience) pics were bigger & better (about 1600sqrd), but trying to save space. if any ya'll need advice sandblasting/want details, give a jingle/pm.

gauge on FAR right is volts i can see just enough of it to know if "life is ok" rest r ok to read.

yes i do like wiring, it's kinda an art form with me. (a.k.a. OCD) is ocd a mav trait?? do i care?? ya should see the stereo/amp EVERYthing is soldered/heatshrunk.

inside my guitar amp (TUBES fender-silverface, i rebuilt) is even more OCD.

besides i have an A.A.S. in electronics, it's one of the things i excell at

some day i'll get a night-pic of led-lit gauges and neon.

    cb

actually, yes it's an old one that works VERY well.

i think all the hi-po's and sherrifs still have 'em (in addion to all their normal gear). Truckers still use 'em, as well as a few general folks.

I'll warn anyone "with their ears on" about a speed trap/fire/wreck/really bad road/washout/ect

cb's have also kept me from walking home on at least 2 cold/rainy/snowy/dark nights. dead battery(just enough juice for a weak watt, which was all i needed), second time that i remember, i was REALLY STUCK in ALOT of mud.:drink:

the big whip on the trunk makes the car look kinda like an r/c car. also looks like the kinda car ya'd see on "the dukes" besides, the cb just fits this car.

Add to all this the fact that I hate cellphones, cb is better for caravaning anyway.

Heck yea. I still have my old Gemtronics base station up in the closet. I have one or 2 older mobles out in the shop but none are hooked up. I have an emergency type CB I use during trips. More to just have something to listen to if nothing else. Alot goes on still in the dead of night on the airways.
