    Hey Guys,

I will be picking up a Granada 5-lug disc setup this weekend for the front of my Mav. I am going to go ahead and order new front wheel bearings for these to put on when I get them. Is there anything else...seals or anything on the front of these spindles that might need replaced while I have them off? I can't say that I've really ever looked at a pair of these spindles before, so I'm not sure exactly what is on there.

    Thanks,

    Later

    Thanks Frank,

Yes, I am going to have the rotors turned. They looked like they were in decent shape on the car. Just surface rust. I already have the new brake pads and wheel bearings ordered (actually they are already at the parts store, I just haven't had the chance to pick them up yet.) I will also get new wheel bearings and the inner and outer seals for them. I don't see any reason not to replace them since I already have them apart.

    Thanks,

Maxx I'm in the throws of doing the conversion also, I can't get the lower control arm/ball joint bolt off the drum spindle so I'm goin to get a lower control arm kit tomorrow along with new tie rod ends and upper ball joints...crap...I may as well replace the sway bar link bolts while I'm at it...hell I'm gonna have a party and replace the front shocks too.
    It's gettin late....

Better check the headlight adjustment while you're at it, too. :D
