I've posted a few threads on this topic. But I've finally set up an appoitment and talked to my suspension guy about getting mine done. I'm getting my rear leafs re-arched, and adding another leaf. All new shocks, I was going to go with KYB Gas-A-Justs. But found out how pricey they are, and thought that I probably would never crawl under my car to adjust them. So I went with some heavy duty Gabbriels. All new Poly Urathane bushings. on the frount and rear. So I think it'll be a bit of a harsh ride when its done but should be tight as a whistle :).

you goof...... the gas a just are just named that. you don't adjust them...they adjust themselves to the conditions. (so they say...) kyb shocks are kidney pounders but make a huge difference in handling. four leaf springs help a lot too. sounds like you are on the right track... maybe a bigger sway bar up front. another important part of handling is the tires... we went with the firehawks and love them!!!!! i am sure there are other great handling tires out there but we love the firehawks. when you get it all together, let us know how it handles... i am wanting to see how the garbiels worked out for you.

Unless you plan to go slalom racing, you don't need KYBs. The $11 replacment gas-shocks from the local auto parts store perform just fine on these cars..
