well anyhting will work on anything...with will and and a welder....but i ordered 71 mustang floor boards and i am cutting mine out....they are approx 23" wide and 60" long...one for each side...i didnt want to cut the tunnel up so i will pound and fit them into shape...

after all my maverick is never gonna be a show car...so i am not worried about brand new looking....just functional..

and non leaking...gotta add that part in

One other thing, if you are successful at grafting these in, it may offer alternantives
for mounting Mustang seats, if that is a part of the floor you are replacing.. does that make sence.

well i left the part in on my maverick where the bench seat mounted to.....but i have noticed that it raises up and tilts back to the rear a little to allow the bench seat to tilt back a little and the seats that i got are from a 80's something thunderbird....the both sat falt in the tbiord so i am going to remove the entire left and right side...and leave the hump....

i will replace the passenger side first....then after it is welded in i will remove the remainder of the drivers side.... i figure that if i do it that way, there will be less likely hood of warping the floor and getting a twist in the frame

i will be getting a bunch of pics...so loook for them in about 2 weeks or so,... passenger floor board should be here by april 28th... drivers should be here by may 3rd

the only problem with the new boards.....the holes where the mustang seats go are about a 1.3 inch hole cut out in four places on each side .... so i am not sure how the mustang seats bolts mount there...unless there is a weld in threaded plate that goes in there... but i wont be using them anyways, as the seats that i have out of the tunderbird dont line up at the holes they have..so i will be welding pieces to cover those holes up

the mustang has another panel, that mounts on top of the floorpan. that why mustang seat tracks wont work in a maverick. thay are to short
