My headlights stopped working on my Maverick. I think it may be the switch, because if I turn it on and off a dozen times they will light for a few seconds and then go out. How to I remove the switch?

Easiest way I know is to disconnect the battery, remove the instrument cluster very carefully, and then with the light switch in the park lamp position reach through the cluster hole and push the little button on the side of the switch while pulling out on the headlight switch, theknob and rod should come out , then un screw the bezel from the outside of the dash and remove the connector from the switch and "VOILA" you have the switch in hand. Install the new switch connect the wiring harness, put the rod and button into the switch and your finished (besides hooking the bat back up)(y) .. Hope this helps...good luck
