I finally got my A/C heater box back together and cannot find where one hose hose goes and also mixed up two hoses. Does anyone have a diagram for a 77 Maverick they could send me or post here?

Also, where is the drier for the A/C compressor located?

Dont have a diagram but on a factory air car the dryer is the cylindrical thing attached to the side of the condensor.

Okie dokie. I went out and traced all the vacuum lines on the 70, that I have half butchered out in the garage. The dash is out so it was pretty easy. A few notes: There seems to be 2 red hoses. One is a bright red and the other is a light red. The light red could be another color but it looked red to me. The other thing is the blue line. Mine was just hanging. Due to where it was located, I believe there is another vacuum motor that controls the center dash vent. If so, that is where it goes. If not, Then I dont know where it goes, but you should be able to figure it out with your car. Also, this is a 70 model. They use a metal vacuum switch instead of plastic. The vacuum plug conector is also spun 180 degrees. I dont think it will really make any difference in the color coding but I dont know 100% Please let me know what you find out so I can update my brain.

Yea, I might be able to get honorable mention in a kindergarten drawing contest. There's a good reason nobody ever called me artistic.

I can't give enough BIG THANKS for going out in your garage and making this diagram. Really. Thanks A LOT!

From what I can see, the diagram looks completely similar to my box, and I think that this will help me figure it out. I will definately make a better diagram the next time I get into a project like this. I didn't have any time to work on this project this weekend, but the compressor and drier should be arriving this week, so I hope to have it completed by next weekend. This is my only car, and I need to get it back on the road so I don't have to borrow other people's cars. I will let you know how I made out in the end. Much thanks again!
