here is a current list of problems and a couple of things I would like to do and any info would be apreciated.

rear axle sits to the passenger side after installing JC Whitney 4 leaf leaf springs

car sits lower on the driver side dispite having new springs all the way around and having a recently straighted chassis

1 1/2 year old engine needs overhaul (my fault... improper break in)

need a wheel bearing for a 8" rear in... would napa carry theme? I know autozone dosen't... they carry some for non-8"...

how difficult is it to goto coil-over's in the back and do away with leafs?

what kind of rack&pinion would work the best for a conversion? I can wield up a bracket.

there's afew more but I need to get to work.

It is possible spring rates are not equal ... some companies actually guarantee matched spring rates so your car sits level ... not sure about JCWhitney. Make sure all your tires have correct air pressure. When I installed new springs I had a low front tire which made it look like car was sagging. Also. loosen up all your spring bolts and bounce the car. Since you installed them with the car jacked up they might be tightened at a wrong angle. Have your driven the car and it's still uneven?

Any coil and rack&pinion conversion would required welding and fabrication as far as I know. There apparantly is one company that does make a bolt in R&P kit.

I had a shop install the springs (I don't have much space where I'm at or I would have done it my self)... I believe the air pressure is the same I check it fairly regularly and the car rests pretty much the same... I haven't loosened up the bolt to resettle the springs though... all of theme or just the front bushing bolts? I always drive it and it always site to the side... I'm temped to sale it... I don't have the money to always fix my daily driver.... I don't know...

Sounds to me like a cheap set of springs, not to sound harsh but thats usually what happens because of the quality of steel that is used. The best way to solve this problem is to put weight equal to what your weight is on the passenger side and ride around with that for awhile and it should help, this is what I used to recommend to customers who didnt want to spend the $$ on better quality springs. And with the offset I would say its probably that "straightend chassis",what was the reason it had to be straightened

it was bent a little behind the front passenger tire as if someone hit a pot-hole realy hard or something so they only staightend that part we also thought that might have been why the car was tilted like it was and is. He said they didn't even touch the back half of the car.
