Need Piston

    Hey guys, anyone know where to get TRW pistons? I've checked with local parts stores and cant find any. Any suggestions?

    summit, jegs?...try a local shop?just some ideas

    you need trw's for any reason? or just thats the kind you want to use? lots of good manufactures out there for pistons.

    TRW is having serious back order problems. Always had great luck with TRQ forged..

    Used to be able to get 'em at any ford dealer,tell 'em you need stock replacements for an '87-'92 gt or lx 5.0.

    Try looking under the Sealed Power name, thats how Summit lists them.

    I have a set of 8 .030 over at home. Theyre used w/ very little wear... too bad im in kuwait right now! :wave: otherwise i could hook a bro up.

    I appreciate it but unfortunately I have a six cylinder. Thanks though. I want to use TRW because thats what was in there when I broke the engine down. They are in good shape except one...that is number 6 cylinder. So I need two new ones for #1 and #6 so it will balance out the bottom end of the engine.

    Glad you thought about the #1 piston, you didn't mention it the other day when you told me about the #6 and I forgot to say anything. Didn't think of it again untill just now.....sorry bro..... Take care, Peston
