Talk about getting lucky, 2 weeks ago I saw a "1973 ford maverick body shop manual" on ebay, after a closer look I noticed it was from a full set. I redid my search parameters to search for "ford shop manual*" and bingo....I ended up with a full set of 1973 and then a full set of 1974 shop manuals. They cover all the cars for that model year but just the info on the maverick was worth the 20 bucks per set I paid. These things are better that the chilton book i have. They cover every detail of the car.

These are the only manuals you should use, Chiltons manuals are crap.

I have to agree about the shop manuals. They are the only way to go.

I have a supplier for vintage manuals and if you only paid $20 for the set, you got a bargain indeed. My cost on them is more than that.
