I'm sure the answer is somewhere on this forum but I can't find it. I'm installing an RC-107 crossmember on my 1970 Maverick. The centerline of my original front end measured to 13" from the center of the second bumper bolt. The RC-107 information says for the centerline to be 12 3/4" from this bolt. I was wandering if anyone has solid info on what I should use for my R&C crossmember centerline. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, just seeing this because I spent 10 days out of town and have been sick.

I don't see the difference between 12 3/4" and 13" making a difference. You probably aren't even going to see the difference in the wheelwell. The really critical part is to make sure it's as straight as humanly possible in the car. If the crossmember is crooked in the car, you'll never get it to drive straight.

I have that front end in my car as well. Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine. If you have any doubts just reach out to Roger at Rod and Custom and he'll get you straight. Measure, measure, measure and you'll be good. That front end looks good when its finished.
