Well I have made a 100 percent commitment to start the second Restoration actually a restomod on the "BADMAV" It all begins August this year.

They say peer pressure can be bad but in this case I think it is great. YOu guys have upped the bar so much in the past year or so I think I have finally come up with a fresh idea and look for my mav.
Just a few ideas I will go with

A pop open gas cap but not in the rear tail panel think old Dodge challenger on the passenger quarter. I will make some ground effects(nothing gawdy just something to compliment the natural lines) I will also use the rear spoiler from a dodge challenger I took some measurements and it looks like a good fit with a minor narrowing. The Grabber hood stays it is just perfect as it needs nothing to help its look. I want a road race set up and will incorporate the shelby drop with global west tubular a arms. A rack and pinion set up. 17 inch upto 18 inch rims. I am thinking Crager SS again but in the new all aluminum design. I may go as far as a mini tub to accomadate the biggest meats I can get back there. Paint will be Azure Blue as used on the 03 Mach 1s maybe a little pearl mixed in. The side exhaust will stay, I like that road race look remember. Interior will be custom but not overdone. My brother is really good with carbon fiber. Motor is undecided I have a spare 351w block but do not want to get too nose heavy. I think a Custom grill Some what similiar to Blown76s. I was entertaining the idea of a T-Top maverick but not really my thing maybe one of you guys can take thatball and run with it. Anyway just some random thoughts. Opinions welcomed.

Sam That is your idea and I don't want to steal your thunder. However Sam my Mav Brother from another mother I will help you accomplish your dream anyway I can. I have been looking for a v10 for you at the right price. Hard to come by though and most of the ones I have found are way over priced IMO. Someday Sam I know you will make it happen and as always Im here if you need an extra hand or two. Thanks all for your responses and encouragment. This will more than likely consume the next 2 to 4 years of my extra income and time. I am very focused on doing it my way no matter the cost, time,or money. I love mavericks and I love being one. :bananaman Still looking for more opinions and advice from the rest of you fine maverickers. So dont be shy.(y)

Lance, sounds good. The biggest thing is just do it "your way", and you won't be disappointed. I say go for it!

Not sure about the "great minds" part here. Geting older and wiser but not always smarter.
