HELLO,JUST GOT MY NEW TO ME 1970 MAVERICK. THE STEERING COLUMN IS JUNK AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. IT IS A LOCKING COLUMN WITH AUTOMATIC TRANS SHIFTER. QUESTION IS,WHAT YEAR COLUMNS WILL BOLT IN TO THIS YEAR CAR??? I WILL BE PUTTING A FLOOR SHIFTER IN THE CAR SO I'M NOT TO CONCERNED WITH THE SHIFTER. PLEASE ADVISE. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!
Any Maverick locking column will bolt it. If you can find one from a floor shift car, it would be a bonus. Save the plastic trim and mounting bracket to swap over from other years if different. Also the directional switch is like the "brain box" for the wiring and is year specific.
