I guys! Just found the forum! Nice to finally have a site with some crazy Maverick info. Nope I don't own one, but my brother has 2. He bought my dad's 72' 4dr 302 a while back. Just getting some info for him. He bought a 70' 2dr I6 and wants to swap everthing from the 72' over to it. Will it work out ok?

    Yes it will

Like Mustangs, it is easy to swap V8 parts to an I6 car.

There are lots of parts that bolt on to both the Mustang
    and Maverick as well.

Welcome to the board. Show some pics of your Mustangs
    in the 'Off Topic' section.

:Welcome: to the board. Need to try to get your brother on here too and keep us posted on his progress. Yes, most everything will interchange except for the sheetmetal from the doors back. That's going to be a great swapover.
And like Seth said, we'd like to see some pics of that 67 Shelby too.(y)

    update

Well he's pulled the engine and tranny from the 4dr, but that's it so far.

Sorry to get your hopes up with my avatar. I don't have a 67 Shelby/Eleanor.
That's just the paint I'm wanting for my 65.

Here's a picture of my 66 GT Project!! I'll get some pic's of my 65 driver soon!

And who knows maybe a Maverick or 2!!!

Looks like a nice project...those fastbacks are getting extremely hard to find. As for your avatar, I like it even if it's not yours. I love the tail end of the 67-68 Shelby as you can tell by my Grabber.:D
