A 1974 2 door. This car started life with a 6cyl and c4 auto trans. The old lady that origianlly owned the car sold to the person I bought it from some time ago. This kid drove the 6 cyl until it died and put in a used 302. That 302 died so he put in a rebuilt one that now has 10,000 miles on it. Origianl interior, vinyl top and chrome. The paint has been done. There is some rust on the passanger door and trunk. None visable in the dirvers doors and I don't know if the cowls leak or not. Not my first collector car and not my first Mav or Ford. At this time it's my only Mav.
- Nice looking "ride" - and who says a big bumber car doesn't look good! That one sure looks nice! Where are you from? Your name doesn't have a location with it.
Thanks...but the picture hides the flaws. The origianl vinyl top is not to good, nor is the wide side trim. Paint is also a bit thin in spots. My son will drive it thru most of the summer. This fall he'll get something more practicle and I'll take over the car. Strip the top off, cut out the rust and weld in new panels, then new paint and a new top. Then it will look real nice in person. So is that side molding held on with clips or was it glued on???? Oh, it's got a 4 bbl. carb. In in the general Puget Sound area of WA state.
