So after tearing apart a 74' 250 W/ac Maverick, and putting it back together i got to the point of wanting to connect all vacuum lines properly. So i found this diagram which is said to fit my car:

The problem is, I didn't have any vacuum amplifier nor a PVS valve with 3 connections anywhere...
Could someone shed some light on my problem? The whole vacuum lines thing is quite new to me, I've tried researching and doing what i can, but i got stuck at this part...

Depending if car was sold in CA or what month/version of system was installed could have varying equipment.

Generally back in the '70s most of that stuff was either plugged off or scrapped. All part of very crude emissions hardware that mostly ruined drivability and fuel economy. Only thing that's really needed is the spark advance(direct hookup from carb to front port on dist), and vac for PCV, transmission modulator & ac system(use reserve canister for A/C but NOT modulator.)
