Hi everyone, I recently bought extended shackles for the rear of my 73 Comet to raise it up in the back. When I went to install them I noticed the bolts supplied with the kit from Autokrafters are seemingly considerably larger than stock bolts or studs on oem shackle style studs/bolts. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Thanks everybody.

Have you removed the shackles yet? If you are just comparing thread size they step up for the shank that rides in the bushing. They do that so there is a positive stop to keep from over compressing the bushing.

Thank you Rick, I guess I'll double check. I did remove the one side of the shackle and looking at the supplied bolts they look huge compared to those in your pic, which is what I currently have. Frank, I do have new four leafs on the back, not enough for me, thank you though.
