What did you do in the rear? Four link? A local guy in my area removed all but the main leaf and added bags. Not sure I like the idea but it seems to work.
I too only have the main leaf with the air over spring set up . Works bitchin but if you have any amount of HP you will need some sort of traction bar... I used the old style grab-a-Trac track bars. Never had any problems.
Do you have any pictures and/or info of the leaf/bag setup? How is ride quality compared to what was on the car previously? I would consider makin change to my full 3 leaf, by way of previously 4 leaf.
That was the part I had concerns about, axle wrap would be horrendous. I also wondered about the spring having a shortened life span since it was designed to work as a package.
Axle wrap WAS horrendous.. First time I got on the Red Dragon hard I soon became familiar with the sound of the rear end hitting the floor board. I am probably pushing 400 HP so it wasn't Dyno Don scary. Then I installed the Grab -a-trac bars . I chose them over the Calvert's because of ground clearance. I love them because I don't look like a grey haired "piston head" with slapper barsand they work perfect .They are black and disappear. I have performed many John Force style burn outs for innocent bystanders with no problems except tire replacement. The set up I used was from Air Ride Technology. It's the universal air over spring set up. I run 17x8 with 4" back spacing no problems. Note: you can not run 15" wheels because it puts the tire too close to bag mount. I will post some pics later today.
My attention to detail is lacking, yours is the car I was talking about! I talked to you and Chris Morrison a few years back at the City Church show.
