May I suggest you type “headers” in the search at the top of the page. You can read all weekend. Meanwhile, tell us about your car. Engine Transmission Column shift or floor shift
Thanks for the lead. I have a '72 with 352 small block and C-4. It is a bracket car that is fully streetable and tagged. It ran 7.65 at 90 with last years 302 so I'm expecting a 7.0 at 98 this year with the 352, Dart block, solid roller, etc. I'm pretty sure no one makes a 1 and 3/4 long tube header today. It might have been available back in the day but there are just too few Mavericks around today.
I purchased a Maverick that was running a 302 that the owner had put some Hooker 6208 headers on it, they are 1.75 tube and they were designed to run on a 351. The trick to running them is you have to use a spacer plate between them and the heads which can be purchased as well. The reason the spacer plate had to be used is because the tubes of the headers ran into the block without them. I am pretty sure there is more info on them on this forum
