73curtis, where do you live in Ohio? As you can read, I live in Munroe Falls. I plan to drive to the Roundup with my wife on Friday and stay `till Monday. I figure 3 1/2 hours with traffic and no stops.

Where did you get those coilovers? I take it that they are designed for a mustang but also fit a mav?

Viking products, they are actually listed for a maverick, got them off eBay . 300 pound springs with compression and rebound adjustments, they work great , easy to set ride height.

Yes , all great stuff , car drives straight down the highway , no wondering because of all the caster , adjustable lower strut rods are nice to , so much easier to align ( 3 degrees built into the upper arms ) also adjustable
Ball joint on the a arm , good for camber setting if your lowering

I wanted it to feel like a new 69.5 maverick, other than the tires , wheels and stripes and it does . If that engine ever fails then I'll go the v8 route,

I predict we will see more inline 6 motors and bench seats. Think about it .... new cars do not come with either any more. To some folks, that novelty will be desireable, especially younger ones because it is "how cars used to be".

My god, I'm getting old ...... lol

Nothing "desirable" about any of that stuff.

I have to agree the V8 is more desirable but I still like the six cylinder and the bench seat , my wife even commented the other day when we were driving in it she said god i feel like I'm 19 years old again, and at the local cruises you very rarely See inline sixes so people like to look at it because it's not very common.
