Earl Branham and myself drove to Moncks Corner, SC yestarday and spent the afternoon with Rick Porter and Ron Robison (ronr11). I was there to pick up a car from Rick. We had great time. Earl and I had invited Frank, Dan, and MAV to go with us, but they weren't able to go with us. We even told them that Rick said he would buy lunch for all of us. But, they couldn't go for various reasons. I'd like to thank them for not going. Since there was only Earl and myself and Ron left early, Rick took us to a very nice seafood restaurant on the canal. Had the others come, we'd gone to Hardee's. Thanks Dan, Frank, and MAV. I greatly enjoyed the flounder. Here's a few pics of the day. Rick has nice business and a nice place to work with his cars. Thanks for the great day, Rick.
Your welcome! I couldn't make it because I can no longer stand to see Terry indulge in his addiction!
Quite the handsome crew there guys. I imagine the testosterone level was so thick you could cut with a sawz-all. I love road trips. Thanks for sharing the pix, Terry. (Yup, I noticed the roll-cage, skinnies, fatties, and suspension too! Best o' luck! )
Terry, Earl and Ron it was good havin y'all and I had a great time. It's always great when you can get together with other Mav/Comet owners, cuz let's face it, the only folks that can talk more about a Mav than you is another Mav owner Hey Frank, Terry stole another one. That shrimp sure beat a thickburger anyday.
Sorry I could`nt make it guys, Glad to see that you all had fun. I think Terry is trying to be the Doug B. of the east coast when it comes to High volume Maverick ownership! How many do you have now Terry 5...6...9 ????
I have 9 in my possession. However, The '71 Grabber is sold to MaverickGrabber, the '76 shell is sold to Allen Small, and a deal was just made with Jamie Miles to buy the '74 Grabber.
