The underside is painted white like the rest of the car. I had all my fuel, brake and vent lines reproduced in stainless steel. This will be as close to a show car as I'll ever own. Although I will drive it to all the local shows, any distance will be in a trailer.

    awsome car

(slobber) more (drool) pics (foaming of the mouth) please! that car looks great, the stock look with your own touches is awsome. I could never own a real shelby or something of that caliber, money for one thing, because I would probably receive death threats for making it to my own liking, I can't leave anything alone.

FoMoDave, pics of my dads car from the time he bought it till what it looked like when he sold it can be seen at http://5hp.hill.cc/hotrod/index2.htm, and thanks for the welcome. I think I may have found the car I'm going to get already! :)

I'll get all the specs on the car up soon. I gotta dig out the magazine and see what all it was. Every time my dad tells me it just makes my head spin... lol

Mavaholic, that is a CLEAN car you got there. Very nice!

:bananaman Jamie ,That has to be the best looking Comet I have ever seen (y) I understand why you miss it! Is your dad going to build another hotrod ? I wish more females were into cars like you. I wish I had a dad that knows how to build cars like yours. Can we meet sometime for coffee/talk?

Dave, don't mean to embarass you, but I'm a guy.
I'm named after my grandpa whos name is James.

When I showed him the pics of the one I'm thinking about buying last night, he sure looked like he was wishing he had another. I'm sure that won't be the last car he builds, but it will be a while before he does another.

That site is actually just part of my site. You can check out some of his other cars here: http://5hp.hill.cc/cars.htm

I gotta get a domain name...
