I need to replace my 1974 4 door maverick hood. Are all stock hoods the same 2dr or 4dr? Plus I have a bent driverside hinge, need replacement or are there hood lifts that won't require a hood prop?

All hoods are the same on 2 door and 4 door Mavericks besides the scooped Grabber hood and even it would fit. There are no hinges made to eliminate the the hood prop rod but some people have made their hoods stay open by adding a gas shock like on the tail gate lift windows and hatch back cars and if I recall some has also modded their car by adding springs from other cars

The only difference I've seen between hoods is later ones have a flat portion in the support structure to accommodate an air conditioning compressor.
