    how many volts in a fully charged 12V battery. mine said 11.3V switch on and 14.3V when running.
    8-9 year old red top Optima battery.

    A fully charged battery should read about 12.8 when not in use and when running and alternator charging around 14 to 14.5 . Must have some drain from all your electronics with just the key on

    checked the battery today and have 12.3 V at battery, 11.3 on volt meter with switched on power.
