Our bone stock 72 grabber weighed 2881 Lbs with A/C, half tank of gas and the spare tire. The car now weighs 3033 with most of the new weight in the rear.

Bigger springs, wheels, axle, mufflers, sway bar, and battery. The balance went from 57% front 43% rear to 55% front 45% rear.

My 72 weighed 2600 lbs with no heater, no rear seat, 351c and a C6. After the back half and a 12 point cage it weighs 2950 lbs.

The roll cage weighs about 250 lbs. The rear axle is also very heavy. It's big web truck housing with 35 spline axles. The rear sub frame only weighs 75 lbs. The rest is .040 aluminum.
