Upper ball joint removal

    Im replacing all four ball joints in my 73 Maverick. Are the upper ball joints supposed to be pressed or drilled out?

    they will need to be drilled out. new ones will be screwed in.

    They don't come out easy, took me a lot of grinding and drilling and cussing to get out. As mentioned in earlier post; lot less effort to replace entire arm assembly...
