    did the scoops come one solid color or was the grill part painted black?

    ONLY THE GRILL PART IS BLACK....THE REST IS BODY COLOR!!!

    Just a little pet peeve of mine.

    I have the SAME pet peeve.
    The Brazilians are notorious for painting the entire scoop black, which looks ridiculous unless the entire hood is also black.

    flat black , satin or gloss black on the grill part ?

    Do you think it would look funny if the stripes on the hood were painted on gloss black and grill gloss black , I was just thinking that way you could clear the whole hood , so you wouldn't have a stripe edge and I think it would be easier to take care of as opposed to the satin or flat stripes or would you put the decal on the hood , big decals scare me , to many bubbles?

    I think the hood would look just fine like that.
    The grills should be satin, which is something you can paint after the fact.

    Done correctly, one can get the big hood stripe on with NO bubbles. Even the factory stripe has some gloss to it.

    I posted this before and had said it took my daughter about 4 hours to do this. I could not have done it.

    I think I'm going to paint the entire center black on mine
    my scoops are not solid they have holes where that one is painted black , did they come factory with holes or without?

    My hood and side stripes are gloss black. Looks good to me!
