My 73 Maverick began life as a 6cyl with column automatic. It now has a 347 and a T-5 tranny. I also replaced the steering column to the floor shift variety. I can trace the black/pink wire from the trunk to where it goes through the fuse box before the trail runs cold. I know where the connection to the T-5 is. Can anyone show me showing how all this goes together? By the way, what is a "Start Interlock Back Up Lamp Switch" and where is it located? I have a set of factory wire schematics. They show the switch and the wires that go to it but nothing about its location.
That sounds familiar and it's been too long but a "Start Interlock Back Up Lamp Switch" sure sounds like a combination neutral safety/backup switch to me.
