V8 mount help....

    I just pulled my 289 out to toss my new 302 in and I discover these hill Billy welded tubes for "frame mounts" I'm looking all over trying to find a set of v8 frame mounts with no luck. Does anyone know where I can get the frame mounts?

    no, i had originals on my car. but if memory serves correctly, members on here have used them with no issues.

    I suspect that your car was originally a six banger. Do you have the belly bar? Recently there were a couple listed on eBay for cheep.

    I figured he would just look under the car. :)

    Not sure how knowledgeable the owner is. If new to the Maverick, I just wanted to inform him that they exist. If it came with an eight, I would have figured he would have had the mounts. Since he didn't, I figured it was a six banger car. As far as I know, no sixes got the bar.
