Why do you say that? If you disagree with my statement, feel free to explain why.

Look at any of the little parts that are the same as mustang and all brake parts that you can get at parts store

No one offers a 15 gallon gas tank for Mavericks. I am not interested in the 19 gallon tank. I do know that the 19 gallon tank is only about $150 from other suppliers.

That's a good point. I guess I'm really only referring to the O.E.M. parts that are not widely available. In fact, before Melvins came along, all we had was AutoKrafters for that stuff.

Just like every vendor there are pricing differences. I just suggest you shop around and make a decision on where you want to spend your money. I just don't think that we should bash any vendor that is working to supply parts for the Maverick. It is nice to have other options besides AK.

Thanks to the members that have helped cross reference parts that work with other vehicles.

Not "wrong". Not all Mustang parts fit Mavericks. I am a big fan of C.J. Ponyparts, but the only Maverick-specific parts suppliers that I know of are A.K. and Melvins. Yes, some of their stuff is high priced, and I don't like it anymore than anyone else does, but it's to be expected when choices are limited.

Looks like its time for the mod to lock this one up, no sense in feathers being ruffled over buying preferences and attacks on peoples cars even if it was just meant to be a joke it still ended up badly. Bottom line is you can buy parts from different distributors and one may be higher for a certain item and cheaper for another. Shop around and get the best price.

    Peace please
