Got me a 71 Maverick 2dr 200 engine auto trans hasn't run in 5yrs. I added quart of oil, gal water, quart and half trans fluid 5gal gas and cleaned the rust out of the fuel lines, sanded & set the points & after a little of fine tunning cranks up with one pump of the paddle. Driver quarter panel needs repair has base ball size hole in passenger floor board & most of the truck floor above fuel tank is rusted out. Other than that a pretty solid Maverick I'm proud to own.
Thanks it will be nice knowing I can move it in and out of the shop & to the gas station if need be. I also have a 76 maverick I bought a year ago but it so rough I decided to use it as a parts car for its 5lug disc brakes and rearend it also came with the dual scoop grabber hood and grabber rear spoiler but both need repairs but worth repairing and saving. Looking forward for the transformation.
