Donor vehicles for Roller Blocks

    Ok question not that I'm going to do it as we are done with the long block on our build but what about the 351 blocks since there was only what 2-3 years they were rollers, what years can be fitted roller and will the spider and dog bones from a 302 fit it?

    Just curious

    AFAIK, you can retrofit an OEM spider assembly into ANY non-roller Windsor block.. 289/302/351. Careful machine work/tapping of holes.. OEM spider assembly.. OEM roller lifters.. aftermarket small base circle cam.

    Ok whoa I did not make clear what I wanted to know, what year 351 blocks will take the same base circle roller cam just like was stated about the 302 not needing the small base circle that's more of my question? Lol

    F4TE blocks are factory roller 351w blocks, uses the same cams as 302.

    And AFAIK are the only 351 blocks that are factory roller cam compatible...
