Rear end damage

    It is the area that is below and behind the wheel wells just under the marker lights and beside the trunk floor. This is one of the most prone areas for rust on these cars because water gets into the trunk area and eventually ends up in the bottom of this, there are drains in the bottom of it but they usually get plugged up from debris and you have an instant lake in your trunk, not to mention they are right behind the rear wheels and road salts take their toll on them

    I saw somewhere that they make floorboards, can't remember where, mine are rusted through, took seat and carpet out today

    No one make floorpans for mavericks...Yet...But...65 through 73 mustang pans work with a little trimming/re-shaping.

    pulled right fender off this morning, found more work to be done

    Reading through the tech articles, seeing some of the same dilemmas and symptoms as my Jennifer, getting a better understanding of how and what needs to be done, has given me new insight, and a feeling that im not alone. Yeah it is a long tedious, sometime frustrating journey, but patients and perseverance will see me through.
    We have the technology to put her back together again!

    Im "assuming" the cowl is similar to a 68 mustang, as to how it's put together, along with the torque boxes?
