    Pics coming soon.

I was wondering if it was normal to have the upper portion of the shock towers bolted in? Since owning my car, being under the hood a lot, and getting to know what every corner of the car looks like, I've noticed that my shock towers have bolts all around them. About 5 on the front of the towers and 5 on the back side.

I've seen other engine bays, and I don't think I see that many bolts. Nothing looks non factory, but I'm just wondering if anybody else has bolts on the upper portion of the shock towers?

you're probably talking about the bolts that hold the coil spring cover in place, located in the wheel house.
take a picture, that will clear things up!

I believe Tody is probably right. If the tower was actually entirely bolted into place there would be a heck of a lot more than 5 bolts holding it in place since it meets up with other engine bay sheetmetal on both sides of the tower and at the topside as well. Follow ALL the seems and transitions to the other panels and you will see what I mean.
