So i just picked up a 1975 maverick and im not a fan of chrome. I have all the chrome trim sitting in the back seat and trunk right now. I also got the factory hubcaps. Is all this stuff worth anything?

Thin strips, im assuming body trim from the sides, also have door window trim, windshield trim(as soon as i have it replaced). Not all the greatest but hey its a 40 year old car.

I moved this to a discussion forum for you so you can get some feedback on value for your parts. Once you are ready to sell something, post the part in the "for sale" classifieds with an asking price.

Trim is always needed by many guys restoring cars as long as it is nice. While minor imperfections in the stainless can be cleaned up easy enough, it is the perfect ones or NOS pieces that bring the most money. The corporate hubcaps that go with the trim rings fit several other cars besides the Maverick so they have value. But it seems even the best full size Maverick hubcaps are little more than decorations for the garage wall.

Any of the anodized pieces (rear window - headlamp doors, taillight bezels) need to be in good shape with no dents to be valuable

Pictures would really help ........... :yup:
