Looks like rain.....

 

Im a little worried myself. Even if its not raining at that time, Its likely going to be pretty wet and muddy. I cant imagine it not being like that in that field under the trees.

 

Yup.. Rain. I am going to have to bail on this. I am speaking from frustration also. It took me about an hour to get from 635 to Sandy Lake exit then almost three hours to get home from Sandy Lake exit last night. When clear it takes me 50 minutes to an hour. There are now about 3 to 4 construction zones along the path for me.

 

I got the email notice from the event organizer this morning. The event has been canceled.

Due to inclement weather the picnic on this Sunday is cancelled ..stay well ...see you next year.
For those preregistered I will mail you a refund.

Bums me out when I miss out on this one because it's not far from me.. Next year is a whole year away.. That's a long time. lol..

 

We should come up with another venue. Let me see what I can find. Waco was a pretty decent location I thought. The other 2 TX meets are both down by Houston. A little more than I like to drive to and from to in a single day not to mention that one of them is during Goodguys weekend.

 

I once was doing "Dinner in Dallas", which was actually deep in Garland. We could do "Dinner in Denton" lol
