Im considering selling my bolt-in rear suspension and am curious, if I did, how much could I sell it for. This is not an auction or an official "for sale" thread but just a hypothetical "what if". This would include everything. Subframe connectors torque-arm torque-arm cross member rear trailing arms coilover cross member rear sway bar panhard bar 9" housing with 31-spline axles 12" Wilwood brakes with integrated parking brake. All of it bolt-in. Absolutely no welding. All you have to do is drill holes and clearance the stock shock cross member by cutting out a small portion of it the use the good ole BMFH on the leading edge of the recessed truck section. You would have to supply the 3rd member and rear coilovers or I suppose a deal could be made there as well. So Maverickers and even you adventurous Cometizers... what would it be worth? Thanks
Yeah a 3-Link is what Im looking at. Just thinking that if Im going to go through the trouble chopping up the panhard bar for a watts link and modifying the rear end housing for a brake solution, I might as well start all over with a new rear suspension and sell this one off while its still usable to someone else. Just an FYI... These exact items' list price is 3700 as a bolt-in kit for a Mustang. Thats not including the paid labor I have into it and my own hours of labor and head scratching to modify this and keep it as a bolt in kit for the Maverick. The hours of labor and R&D are of course offset by the hours of enjoyment I have had in running (read "abusing") this system. So no, I wouldnt expect that to be a factor in your price estimate.. LOL
Starting with post #116 on pages 6, 7, 8, and 11 have various photos of the build and final photos. The cross bracing is gone now and the torque shortened but you can get a good idea on whats there. http://mmb.maverick.to/threads/grabbergt-ev-5.54307/page-6
