What is a good measurement for a driveshaft c to c of the u-joint, for a stock maverick rear to a T-5? Anyone know this?
Thats what I have done, but the rear seal on the trans is leaking like a siv, been thru 2 new seals already, am thinking I need to replace the front yoke, BUT am also liking the idea of a speedie-sleeve for that yoke. Anyone heard of one for the yoke? I looked at my yoke the last time I replaced the seal and it doesnt appear bad at all, got me?
Does the yoke rock in the tail shaft housing? Maybe the bushing is bad causing the yoke to have excess movement?
I've used sleeves on both front and rear crankshafts before, but never on a slip yoke. Never had a problem with them.
AFAIK there is no such thing as a sleeve for a slip yoke(can you imagine length necessary?), if it's worn replace it, if the bushing in tail housing is worn, replace it...
