What is the bolt pattern for a 73 Maverick 5 lug? What is the correct way to measure in order to get the correct fit when looking for rims? I have measured from center lug bolt to center lug bolt and come up with 4 1/2,

    4 1/2" is correct.

What Craig said. Your bolt pattern is 5 on 4 1/2.

Now I'm confused. Craig you said the bolt pattern is 5-4 1/2 which is what I thought, and the diagram listed here in a reply says 5-4 3/4ish.

If it is the stock Maverick rear, then it is 5x4.5, so let it be written...........

It all depends on what you are going to do with the car....what size tires you want to run....etc.
