Turn Signal bulb socket

    I have a '71 comet and need to replace the front turn signal sockets anyone know how to do this? And the parts I need to buy?

    Try Melvin's Classic Ford parts. They have replacement Comet sockets.

    Thanks! found what I need, any idea on how to pull the old socket out of the housing?

    The socket is crimped into housing, and was never meant to be replaced, probably can use a Dremel or similar to cut it out but I've never replaced one...

    Surely someone will have suggestion...

    It's a tight fit but it will pull out without cutting. Might wanna try a socket or broom handle to push it out

    I have just taken the guts out and replaced them with the ones from the new sockets...:thumbs2:

    thanks guys! we just got snow here. So i'll pull it apart next weekend.
