I am adding a set of Sport Mirrors to my 74 Comet. Does anyone have a picture of the mounting location for the adjustment knob?

If you are adding sports mirrors, you might want to look at this .... post 136 ....

    http://mmb.maverick.to/threads/captains-comet.55560/page-7

Seems there were a couple of specs as to where to mount the mirrors, and some cars the mirrors are mounted pretty far back, making them less useful. My car didn't have them originally, and I mounted mine, based on where the one chrome drivers mirror was. Last year, I moved them forward and like the position much better. They look better outside too, in this new position .... tucked in closer to the A pillar. You don't want to move them too far forward or they start looking like Dumbo ears from the front.

Thanks - the body work is already done. I will get pictures when the mirrors are painted and mounted.
