okay so Ive been hoarding every cent I can for a while now and Im up to about $1500 and want to know what are some of the things I could get for upgrades with that kind of money

Im really leaning towards the front suspension upgrade since the tubular chassis is going to be way more than the little money I have stashed right now.

I thought about buying a used lift but have nowhere to put it. then I thought about buying a rotisserie but Im back to the nowhere to put it problem again

the engine is being built and is paid for as far as I can tell
I know a good ignition system would be an option
what other ideas do you guys have?

Anything cosmetic you've been looking at? Interior upgrades? Wheels? Paint? Exterior pieces? Choices are limitless. If you feel the drive train is sturdy and to your liking then it's up to you. If a tubular chassis is what you're really after then continuing to save for it is always an option.

didn't you tell us that you're going turbo on this deal?

with an engine nearing or even surpassing 1000 HP.. I would easily vote 20 times over for some custom stainless headers.

the engine is going super charge I havent given my headers a thought yet since I dont have the engine in hand yet its still in boxes and the chassis isnt done I want to go with a tubular chassis so I think best bet is to wait until all of that is done before I go with headers

ole rodder referred me to a guy very close to me that he used that makes custom headers. I just hope hes still alive and in business by the time Im ready lol my progress seem SOOOOOOOO slow but thats the way it goes when you dont have a check book to whip out

well I want to put it in the white one but I already have new lower control arms for it and I dont want to spend any money unless I have to. I can easily go crazy on the white one and spend every extra 1$ I get on it but Im trying to finish the black one so Im going to say this is for the black car :D

Your right the black one needs it the white one is already bada$$, if you havnt already i would say spend some money to stiffen up the rear suspension, 4 leaf setup, traction bars, sway bar cuz that bad boy is gonna squat

I think Im going to buy a new ignition system for the new motor
Im going to start looking at an msd set up. I stopped by my engine builder today and told him I had some cash and wasnt sure what to buy he told me to grab a complete msd ignition setup

now Im going to start a new thread asking whats the best one for me since theres so many out there
